Well it started ok with a nice appearance and nice aromaticsĀ  – dark fruits like cassis, dark cherry and bit of cedar.

I don’t have a whole lot to say about this wine except the main point. There are many better wines available at this price. There simply isn’t enough going on here to warrant me recommending it.

It’s a little tart – tannins are a little forward. Taste is rather pleasant but it feels to aggressive (or cheap). When you notice the sensations more than the flavors I feel it is off balance or off prime age. Should we buy and wait or skip it? good question. My thinking is that we skip it.
There’s a bit of an aftertaste – not in the sense of a nice finish – just aftertaste.

This Wine’s Grade
D
