The nice folks at Eco Sea Tile sent along a beautiful and somewhat unusual bottle stopper. I get a fair amount of companies asking if they can send a sample over but to be honest a lot of it looks like junk – so I politely decline. When Dawn wrote me I checked out her site and thought the items looked rather nice. Now I’m not about to write a 500 word essay on the value of a great bottle stopper. Instead – I’ll tell you all you need to know. First and foremost, the stopper is sitting atop a bottle of California Cabernet as I write this. Most nights the wine stopper is perched on one of my bottles doing its two jobs quite well: keeping the wine fresh and looking great while doing so.
I’ll just add a quick note about the quality. I wouldn’t be writing this is a cheap piece of plastic showed up in the mail. These are well made, have a nice bit of weight to them and have a very interesting look – mine happens to be mussel and lobster shells.
If you’re looking for wine stoppers, coasters, picture frames, or need some unique tile for a renovation project, take a look at Eco Sea Tile. They have lovely gifts for anyone with a beach or lake house (or wine lovers like myself) and the company uses over 50% recycled material.
