A Few Tips For the Beginner: Visiting a Winery

 

A lot of folks have started to consider adding a visit to a local winery as part of their vacation plans. Terrific idea. My wife Baharak and I started doing that on our trip to the Okanagan Valley a few years back and still have fond memories of our visit to Quail’s Gate vineyard. For first timers though it may seem a little intimidating. You don’t need to worry. The wineries accomodate novice tasters everyday and will help steer you in the right direction.  We’ll do our bit to help as well by posting a few videos on the ins and outs of wine tasting and winery visits.
